 News re: PRCA in patients treated with erythropoietinA committee struck by the executive of the CSN reviewed data concerning this issue and produced a report in August, 2002, as well as a patient information letter that MD's might choose to use if suitable. An update (January, 2003) has also been released. The McGill University Health Centre Technology Assessment Unit has produced a report on PRCA in April, 2003. An abstract summarizing recommendations of the Canadian PRCA Focus Group was presented at the 2003 CSN Annual Meeting, and can be found by searching on "aplasia" in the 2003 Abstracts File. |
